DESCRIPTION OF THE FLIGHT ATTENDANT JOB

Flight attendants are integral to the smooth operation of commercial flights, ensuring both the safety and comfort of passengers throughout their journey. Their duties start well before takeoff as they prepare the cabin for departure, checking that all safety equipment is in place and that the cabin is in order. Upon boarding, they warmly welcome passengers, assist with seating arrangements, and help with stowing carry-on luggage in overhead compartments. During the flight, they provide a range of services, including serving meals and beverages, distributing pillows and blankets, and addressing any special needs or requests from passengers.Flight attendants are extensively trained to manage a variety of in-flight scenarios, from routine safety briefings and emergency procedure demonstrations to handling unexpected medical emergencies. They conduct thorough safety checks, ensure that all passengers comply with safety regulations, and are prepared to execute emergency evacuations if required. Their role extends to maintaining a positive and calm atmosphere in the cabin, managing passenger behavior, and resolving conflicts or issues that may arise. They are also responsible for providing timely updates about flight status, addressing any concerns or queries, and ensuring that all safety protocols are followed. The position demands excellent communication skills, the ability to think quickly and act decisively, and the capacity to stay composed under pressure. Certification Required

  • A bachelor’s degree is a prerequisite. 
  • European CCA (Cabin Crew Attestation) diploma required. 
  • Baccalaureat +2 level is appreciated, and you can take a BTS in tourism or a bachelor’s degree with a major in LEA.
